Insurance & Payment

Cost and coverage should not be a barrier to getting help. Alliance Wellness Clinic accepts a wide range of insurance plans and works with patients to understand their options before treatment begins. If you are unsure about your coverage, our admissions team can help.

Insurance We Accept

Medicaid (Medical Assistance)

Alliance Wellness Clinic accepts Minnesota Medicaid (Medical Assistance) for eligible patients. Medicaid typically covers the full range of OTP services, including medication, counseling, and case management, with little to no out-of-pocket cost for covered individuals.

If you are not currently enrolled in Medicaid and believe you may qualify, our case management team can assist you with the application process.

Medicare

Alliance Wellness Clinic accepts Medicare for eligible patients. Medicare Part B covers opioid treatment program services under the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) benefit, which includes medications, counseling, and toxicology testing.

Commercial Insurance

Alliance Wellness Clinic accepts most major commercial insurance plans. Coverage for OTP services varies by plan and employer. Our admissions team can help verify your benefits and explain what is covered before your first visit so there are no surprises.

Common covered services under commercial insurance include:

  • Medical evaluation and history & physical
  • Medication (methadone or buprenorphine/Suboxone®)
  • Individual and group counseling
  • Urine drug screening
  • Peer recovery and case management services (varies by plan)

Private Pay

For patients without insurance coverage, Alliance Wellness Clinic offers private pay options. Our admissions team will provide a clear explanation of fees and payment arrangements prior to starting treatment.

Verifying Your Coverage

Our admissions team can assist with insurance verification before your first visit. To verify your coverage, it helps to have:

  • Your insurance card (front and back)
  • Your member ID and group number
  • The name of your insurance plan and employer (if applicable)

We can typically verify coverage within one business day. Call or contact our admissions team to get started.

  • Determine eligibility for Minnesota Medicaid
  • Apply for coverage through MNsure or the federal marketplace

We do not want insurance status to prevent you from starting treatment. Speak with our admissions team about your situation, there are often more options than people realize.
